TRAINING
With more than 35 years of experience in Martial Arts, Robert started Judo at age 13 at the Academy Alterosa and SESC in Belo Horizonte and reached the brown belt at age 18.
Fight Greca and trained Roman Atemis (Technical contacts and traumatic) at Red Sun Academy in Belo Horizonte, with Professor Luiz Otavio for two years.
Started in Jiu-Jitsu Academy in the Blue Band Golden Lion in 1985 with Master Hilton Leão da Silva. Projections showing great skills in competitions, soon reached the black belt at age 26 in 1990. http://www.leaodourado.com.br.
He began teaching in 1988 at brown belt Master Instructor supervised by Hilton Leão da Silva at the Golden Lion Academy in Belo Horizonte.
Participated in several tournaments, national championships and international competitions winning several titles and medals during his career.

Participated in the International Master and Senior Championship by the IBJJF in 2000 in Rio de Janeiro / Brazil Black Belt.
America participated in the Golden League Cup in 2004, in Rio de Janeiro / Brazil Black Belt.
Robert was awarded with the Merit Diploma in November 2011 UNDEFEATED CHAMPION of 2011 by Federation of Mining Jiu Jitsu 37th Cup 2011 MG Black Belt - Mining Federation of Jiu-Jitsu (http://www.jiujitsuminas.com.br/ inicio.htm).
Participated in the European Championships in Lisbon, Portugal in 2011 becoming vice champion in the category and the absolute vice: Super-senior black belt, the Brasilian Top Team BTT Texas (http://www.btt-texas.com/) and IBJJF (http://www.ibjjf.org/).
Participated in the World Championship Jiu-Jitsu Sports 2011 in Sao Paulo Brazil. Ranked Vice Champion Super-senior category Medio black band representing the Brasilian Top Team BTT Texas (http://www.btt-texas.com/) and CBJJE (http://CBJJE.com.br).
Was graduated from the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation - IBJJF in February 2012 as "FIFTH DEGREE BLACK BELT".
